Steven M. Brookstein, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Steve Brookstein brings to the Bresnan management team an extensive background in consumer and cable marketing, cable operations and high-tech experience.

Mr. Brookstein joined Bresnan in April 2003, assuming overall responsibility for the operations of the Company's cable television systems. Previously, he spent nine years with Comcast Cable, joining the company in 1990 as Senior Vice President of Marketing and moving into operations four years later as Regional Senior Vice President for Comcast's East/West Region. In that role, he managed Comcast's cable systems in Connecticut, Colorado and California. In 1999, Mr. Brookstein joined @Home, the industry's premiere high-speed data provider, as Senior Vice President of Affiliate Relations. In April 2002, he was appointed General Manager of @Home's residential business unit. Prior to joining Bresnan, Mr. Brookstein held a senior executive management post with DIVA, a pioneer Video On Demand solutions provider. In 2008, Steve was the recipient of the cable industry's most prestigious award, the Vanguard Award for Cable Management.

He began his career in advertising account management for such New York advertising agencies as Ogilvy & Mather, Wells, Rich Greene, and Young and Rubicam. In the early 1980's he joined Home Box Office and was part of the team that developed and launched HBO's sister service, Cinemax.

Mr. Brookstein holds a BS degree from Temple University in Philadelphia and an MBA degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Business School.
