Robert V. Bresnan, Executive Vice President and General Counsel

Bob Bresnan brings his extensive and diverse background in law, with emphasis on telecommunications law, to the Bresnan management team, which he joined in 1993.

Mr. Bresnan oversees all legal matters, including oversight of the Company’s day-to-day legal and administrative issues, franchise transfers, union negotiations, rate regulation compliance, acquisition and divestiture documentation, as well as external counsel supervision.

After becoming a member of the California Bar in 1986, Mr. Bresnan joined the law firm of Tuverson & Hillyard, specializing in the defense of attorneys in complex legal malpractice suits. In 1988, he joined the cable brokerage firm of Hardesty, Puckett & Co. in San Diego. As in-house counsel, he was responsible for all aspects of cable television transactions. Mr. Bresnan also handled legal matters that arose from the operation of the business. He graduated from the State University of New York at Albany with a BA in Music and English. Mr. Bresnan holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California Law School.
