Pragash Pillai, Senior Vice President, Engineering & Technology

Pragash Pillai is responsible for developing and guiding the company's strategic technology development for voice, video and data services. He is also responsible for Bresnan's IT and engineering which includes, video, network, system, microwave and HFC engineering.

Prior to joining Bresnan, he was the Vice President of Advanced Engineering - Digital Video for Charter Communications, Inc. In that post, his responsibilities included digital video network architecture, system engineering, system integration and technology assessments. He led a team of engineers who were responsible for the end-to-end development of products and system architecture for video platforms reaching 5.9 million customers across Charter's 37-state territory. During his tenure, he gained extensive experience in a wide variety of new technology developments, testing and integration, deployments and operations.

He holds a Masters Degree in Applied Science in Telecommunications from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri. In addition, he completed graduate work in Telecommunications Management at Washington University in St. Louis. Mr. Pillai is a graduate of the NAMIC Executive Leadership Development Program at Anderson School of Management at UCLA. He also completed MIT Sloan Executive Program in Strategy and Innovation.

Mr. Pillai has co-authored multiple industry articles on technology and operations and has participated in multiple industry technical panels and sessions. Mr. Pillai has received numerous professional honors and industry accolades. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of NAMIC, an organization that educates, advocates and empowers multi-ethnic diversity in the telecommunications industry.
