Jim Gemmill, Vice President of Operations

Jim brings to Bresnan a solid foundation in both operations and finance. Joining Bresnan in 1995 as Manager of Operations, he quickly was elevated to the post of Director of Operations, responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Company operating policies and procedures. Most recently he has taken on the additional responsibility for the administration of the Company’s cable programming offerings throughout its footprint.

Prior to joining Bresnan Jim spent 15 years at Sutton Capital Associates, Inc. in New York, where he was Vice President of Operations. At Sutton, owner and operator of numerous cable systems throughout the U.S., he held a wide range of responsibilities, among them operations, certain aspects of cable programming and debt placements.

From 1969 to 1974, Jim served in the U.S. Air Force, where held the rank of Captain. He holds a BA degree in English from Georgetown University, Washington, DC, and an MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from St. John's University in New York.
