Daniel J. Bresnan, Executive Vice President of Business Development

Dan Bresnan contributes a range of experience in planning, acquisitions, operations, and strategic management to the Bresnan management team.

Mr. Bresnan joined the Company in 1984 with responsibility for its strategic information systems. For the last 20 years he has led the acquisition, corporate development, and international operations areas of the Company. During this period, Mr. Bresnan has overseen the negotiation and consummation of numerous domestic and international acquisitions as well as the integration of acquired businesses.

With overall responsibility for the Company’s international division, Mr. Bresnan led the development, staffing and operations of businesses in Chile and Poland, where the Company marked a number of important achievements. These include the successful, profitable launch of one of the earliest European applications of high-speed data, telephony, and video over HFC networks, and the consolidation and upgrade of networks creating one of Europe’s largest single head-end systems, covering more than a half-million households. Mr. Bresnan was responsible for negotiating the participation of private equity groups in the international businesses of the Company, as well as the eventual, profitable disposition of those assets.

Mr. Bresnan graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a BS in Music and Technology and was awarded an MBA with honors in Strategic Management from Pace University.
